As I was reading this police procedural, about a detective named Erlandur (1st name), I kept feeling I was reading about the twin of Kurt Wallander, Henning Mankell's Swedish detective. Indridason's mysteries take place in Reykavik, Iceland. In this one, the police have to find who killed Santa - the dead guy was playing Santa at a hotel and he was found murdered in his Santa costume.
