MILES TO GO. Cyrus, Miley, with Hilary
Lifton. Parragon, octavo hardcover, 2009, 266 pages,
illustrated. If you don't know who Miley Cyrus is you
have not been around teens. Unlike some people said to
be famous for being famous Miley is famous for being
at the very centre of the TV show Hannah Montana. Has
many B&W illustrations in the text and two
sections of colour plates. Missing is Annie
Leibovitz's fabulous photo of Miley which, not
unexpectedly in a neo-puritanical society, stirred up
controversy. Might have made a nice cover but the one
of Miley on the front is itself quite nice. Very good
copy with very good dust-jacket. ISBN 9781407562612.
